Our client FRB Federal Credit Union® serves members across the country who are employed by or are related to an employee of the U.S Federal Reserve. This requires a robust digital presence to retain and grow membership in such a wide service area. Before partnering with Strategis, their website was outdated, entirely HTML coded, and not responsive outside of a desktop or laptop computer. Additionally, their logo needed a new modern look that would pair with a modernized website that appeals to the next generation while still being recognizable to current members.
Brand Refresh
Strategis kept the credit union’s logo recognition by refreshing some elements. New dimensions were added by the updated color palate, which also provided more hues to incorporate into the redesigned website. Adding a modern font and graphic topped off the new look. Overall, the fresh look appealed to 43% of Millennials and Gen Z, who are more likely to purchase from an organization with a well-designed logo while retaining the 75% of customers who recognize a brand by its logo.
Introducing the New Website
The new FRBFCU® website was given a modern theme that better spoke to members and created a user-friendly experience across all platforms. Optimizing the website for the 55% of web users on mobile platforms was at the top of the credit union’s list of objectives; therefore, Strategis designed a responsive site across all devices. We also refreshed the content throughout the site, ensuring the most critical information was front and center.
Results
Following the website launch and brand refresh, the credit union saw its website traffic jump by 112%. As a digital hub for members and prospects, the new website draws daily viewers via digital advertising and search engine optimization (SEO). Strategis continues to work closely with FRB Federal Credit Union®, providing website management services such as running monthly back-ups, incorporating new functionalities, making content edits or updates, and more as part of our Full-Service Marketing approach.
